Obesity, Inflammation, Cardiovascular Diseases, Diabetes
Fat begins to accumulate more easily, and countering this process becomes increasingly difficult, even with careful and reduced eating. Workouts that once felt natural and easy now require significantly more effort to achieve results that no longer meet expectations.

Increased cholesterol levels, a higher fat percentage, and a decline in muscle mass—no longer compensated by an efficient metabolism or regular physical activity—become contributing factors to a wide range of cardiovascular, metabolic, bone, respiratory, and cerebral conditions. Obesity, often overlooked, is a major risk factor for conditions ranging from insulin resistance and metabolic syndrome to atherosclerosis, diabetes, and organ failure.

Chronic inflammation further exacerbates cardiovascular issues and creates a vicious cycle with obesity and impaired glandular function. These phenomena reinforce one another, leading to increased cellular receptor resistance to hormones—including insulin—worsening overall health. Under these circumstances, health deteriorates rapidly.

Most people with insulin resistance are unaware of their condition. It’s only after developing diabetes, hypertension, and hypercholesterolemia that they recognize the issues, often when multiple systems are already imbalanced.


Nutritional Deficiencies
Many nutritional deficiencies result from unbalanced diets, consumption of genetically modified foods artificially stimulated to grow faster, or simply because the aging gut loses its digestive capacity.


Cognitive Function and Sleep
Cognitively, the body becomes increasingly sensitive to stress, focus is harder to maintain throughout the day, and memory issues become persistent. The progressive decline in cognitive function becomes a problem when it starts affecting work performance. Tasks are forgotten more easily, are harder to remember, and patience diminishes rapidly. Social interactions also shift, as individuals unknowingly become selective, finding enjoyment in fewer relationships.

Sleep, once undisturbed and restorative, also becomes affected. Various conditions, hormonal imbalances, poor diet, and side effects of medications cause sleep disturbances that gradually diminish its restorative qualities. These disturbances lead to daytime drowsiness, fatigue, irritability, mood swings, and difficulty concentrating. A constant feeling of insufficient and shallow sleep persists, leaving individuals unmotivated and dependent on caffeine to start their day.


Skin
Changes in skin appearance are among the most visible signs of aging. Wrinkles appear, elasticity and firmness are lost, the epidermal layer thins, and the skin sags, taking on a poorer quality.


Libido, Sexual Activity, Orgasms
Hormonal imbalances, increased oxidative stress, higher body fat percentage, nutritional deficiencies, medication side effects, stress, and lack of regular physical activity contribute to a noticeable decline in libido and sexual activity.

Men experience a reduction in nighttime and morning erections, which were once consistent and strong enough to wake them but are now rare. Over time, men face fewer and lower-quality erections, while women experience a loss of elasticity and lubrication in the vagina, resulting in diminished pleasure compared to youth.

Sex becomes less of a refuge and less satisfying, with orgasms being weaker and harder to achieve. Combined with physical changes, a decline in overall well-being, the onset of new conditions, and the chronicization of others, this leads to lower self-esteem, reduced positive feelings, and increased anxiety, depression, and insomnia.


Environmental Factors, Detoxification, Immune System
Constant exposure to environmental factors (such as pollution and radiation) and chemicals (like cigarette smoke, pesticides, toxins, certain medications, food additives, and industrial chemicals) results in chemically unstable molecules known as free radicals. These factors are omnipresent in our lives and unavoidable. Reactive molecules cause significant cellular damage, affecting cell membranes, altering DNA structures, and degrading proteins and lipids, leading to cellular deformation or death.

Ideally, there is a balance between free radicals, antioxidants, and neutralization mechanisms in the body. When detoxification processes fail to keep up with free radicals, they accumulate, causing oxidative stress. Prolonged exposure to oxidative stress leads to cellular degradation, genetic mutations (with abnormal cell growth being a precursor to cancer), premature aging, inflammation (particularly in vessels and arteries), and cardiovascular, autoimmune, and neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s.

Cumulatively, these factors weaken the immune system, reducing its ability to combat infections. Fighting infections takes significantly longer compared to youth, even for minor illnesses like a common cold. Normally, the immune system eliminates genetically modified cells just as it fights pathogens. However, a weakened immune system becomes less vigilant, allowing oxidative stress-modified cells to multiply. This manifests as a range of issues: from wrinkles and lack of vitality to organ failure and cancerous cell development with malignancy potential.


Bone Density and Osteoporosis
As a result of hormonal imbalances and a sedentary lifestyle, both men and women gradually lose bone density with age. Bones lose calcium and become so fragile that fractures occur easily. Osteoporosis, defined as reduced bone density, has long been considered a condition specific to women.

Conventional treatment uses medications to inhibit resorption processes, conjugated estrogens to promote bone formation, and nutritional supplementation. When these treatment lines fail or cause adverse effects worse than osteoporosis itself, conventional medicine often concludes that osteoporosis is an inevitable consequence of aging.

We recognize osteoporosis as a result of accumulated triggers over time, including prolonged exposure to oxidative stress, chronic inflammation, everyday stress increasing cortisol levels, insulin resistance, obesity, sedentarism, and nutritional deficiencies.
